About the Book and Audience
The main objective of the book is to explore the applications of diverse nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in the energy and environment sectors. Specifically, the applications of such materials and technologies in enhanced oil recovery, gas adsorption, gas separation, corrosion protection, fuel cell components and chemical reactions have been targeted. The reviews presented in the volume have been carefully prepared to provide fundamental aspects of these materials and technologies, along with significant insights into their development for particular applications. Thus, the chapters not only make the readers aware about their current state of art, but also allow the users to make efficient choice of materials and processes as well as to tune these further to target specific applications. Overall, the multitude of various materials and technologies targeting a whole spectrum of applications makes the book a valuable asset for a diverse audience ranging from postgraduate students to material scientists, chemical engineers and researchers in both academia and industry.
